We've created a space where individuals with disabilities can have a meaningful place to work, feel accepted and welcomed while they work, create beautiful art, bags, cards and more, that they can sell in our store and earn some income! We aim to help everyone that works with us and visits our store, to learn how to shop more consciously, and reduce the waste that is negatively impacting our planet and all that inhabits it.  We provide space for community gatherings where we can learn and grow together to be better stewards of our resources.

 

Who we are

The Live Oak Refillery is a low-waste lifestyle store and refillery with DIY workshops and education about living and consuming in a way that is gentle to the earth, people, and animals. We focus on refillable and reusable alternatives rather than single use plastic packaging.

At the Live Oak Refillery, every product you buy is environmentally friendly, high quality and free from single-use plastic packaging. We are also making every effort to stock products made by local artisans and craftspeople to help connect you to all the wonderful things being made where you live.

 

Planet

All of our products are single-use plastic-free & plant-based. No petroleum-based ingredients, no added parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, and no testing on animals. Any plastic you see in the store (bulk jugs, pumps, and spray attachments) will be reused indefinitely or is already secondhand.

 

Community

Hosting workshops & community events is our passion. We try and get the community together to learn, help the planet, and grow together as much as possible! We've been hosting monthly beach cleanups We're always ready to host or help plan an eco-friendly event, just ask!
